Joint Vibration Analysis
The Joint Vibration Analysis allows Dr. DiGioia to see specific vibration patterns that occur in the joint which aids in the determination of diagnosis. Some of the most common symptoms of TMJ are popping, clicking, or grinding noises that happen with chewing or opening. The JVA picks up these noises and interprets the frequency and intensity of them, in addition to analyzing the site of these noises, such as the right or left side.
Cold Laser Therapy
Cold laser therapy is our non-invasive go-to for the reduction of inflammation. This pain-free treatment offers so many benefits! Cold laser therapy kick-starts the healing process by providing an improved immune response, increased circulation by readily distributing more oxygen to red blood cells, and accelerated metabolic activity causing a faster cell response.
CBCT Imaging
With 360-degree flex rotation, the i-CAT CT scanner captures a comprehensive image from the neck to the nose, streamlining the process of diagnosing and treating disorders of the airway and temporomandibular joints. The CBCT imaging scan is done in a trusted maxillofacial center outside of our office, and we receive the results within days and will review them with you.
